I had planned to do regular posts while we were preparing for the Gold Coast International Teddy Bear Fair, and a blow by blow description of the fair itself. I hadn't counted on the vagaries of internet connections in a foreign land (I'm a South Aussie) or how much we had to do to get ready.
Martin worked wonders in building new display stands and shelving, with lighting also, all of which had to fit in our suitcases with the bears, and I did my best to make a new banner and curtains.
When we finally got to the Fair venue the size of it was rather overwhelming, but we had fun setting up.
There were other lovely crafts were on display, too, along with the wonderful providers of craft supplies, without which we would have no means of creating what we dream about.

Well done Martin on great shelving and lighting. Very quick work for you Kay, getting your banner made in time.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you had a catch up with other bear makers, and the hug of bears had a lovely trip.
