MACKENZIE STUART HAS A COLDIDDADOZE!

MACKENZIE STUART NURSING HIS COLD
Poor Mackenzie Stuart! Last week his parents succumbed to the dreaded lurgi - a head cold - and unfortunately Mackenzie went down with a 'coldiddadoze' today. His mother tucked him up in bed immediately, and began treating him with the best medicine for a cold - chocolate frogs!

She sent me this picture to reassure me that he is being looked after properly. With such tender loving care being lavished on him, I am certain he will be well in no time!

Here's another picture of Mackenzie in our garden before he was adopted - the picture of health, as you can see.

ALBIE IS UP, UP, AND AWAY!

Well, almost. Although Albie was chosen some months ago by his foster mother, he wanted to go to the Gold Coast Teddy Bear Fair with my other critters first, so happily this was agreed upon and we all had a lovely time together (see earlier posts). Last week, however, I finally had to bid farewell to this happy little fellow. Albie is flying out on the 1st September, on a Qantas 380 airbus bound for England. He is to be adopted by a little girl, Freya, as a gift for her baptism and companion for life.

Albie can hardly wait!

SO MUCH TO DO - SO LITTLE TIME!

Oh dear, it's been almost a month since my last post! It seems there is more to life than making teddy bears. I've been away from home for awhile, and although back now there has been so much to do since returning that my new critters-in-waiting are becoming impatient to be finished. I have four on the go, but none ready to be shown to the world. In the meantime, however, I was sent a lovely pic of two of my adopted critters, Bartley and Bearen, enjoying afternoon tea in the garden of their new home, so I thought I'd share it with you.
